Planning 2018 phase for Cae Bodfach

12th January 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Forest garden at Sabina school Uganda, what might we achieve here in Wales?

It all began back in 2014 http://www.get-growing.org.uk/?cat=21

Cwm Harry’s Get-Growing project won some national lottery resources for us to start a community orchard garden in Llanfyllin.

It is now known as Cae Bodfach and each year since we have added to it. 80m of willow coppice for examples, 60 heritage fruit trees and more are planned, a native wildlife friendly hedge.

This year for 2018 we will be adding 20 or so more heritage fruit trees as well a medicinal and dye plant garden as an addition to the existing plantings. We have also been working and planning to diversify the rye grasses into a diverse herb rich meadow.

We will be meeting with partners to plan for the next phase this Friday. 12th Jan and we need your help please.

Meet at the picnic area from 10.00 am at Cae Bodfach, or in Something Tasty if its raining!
