UK, France and China are saying no more petrol/ gas car production after 2040, Oxford city is banning the internal combustion engine from within its city limits much sooner, 2030 maybe. I suspect this is an attempt to make the car industry last a bit longer that it will… we could see the end of the motor car much sooner than we realise, so what are our transport options?

For a rural, spread out county like Powys this is going to be a big challenge, i dont see electric cars being very effective on these hills, but maybe I am wrong.
